The handbook incorporates all the legal policies necessary to keep you in compliance and protect your business, making your company less vulnerable to lawsuits from alleged violations. Certain sections of the handbook can be customized to reflect your company specific policies such as pay dates, holidays, paid time off policy and benefits.

POSTINGS
State and Federal laws mandate that you post certain information/laws in a visible place for your employees to read. We will provide you with posters for one location (one state) on an annual basis to ensure you’re posters reflect changes in the law. Required posters include:

COMPLIANCE REVIEW
We will conduct a thorough review each year to ensure you’re meeting the federal and state standards and requirements. Upon completion of the review, we will provide you with a written report detailing the compliance audit and recommended solutions. The following are some of the areas reviewed:

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION MANAGEMENT
We will review your performance evaluation policy and forms and conduct a training session on how to perform evaluations, including proper documentation and potential rewards. If requested, we will also follow up with a spot audit of evaluations and provide feedback and recommendations.

ON-SITE VISITS
We will be on-site quarterly to meet with management and address any new laws that may affect your business. We can also be on hand to review any issues that you may be dealing with or assist with recruiting and retention.

We will be available to assist you and your management by phone or e-mail. As part of HR SHIELD, we will include a predefined number of hours to answer daily, ongoing questions or issues.
